Local Parks and Arden Arcade Community

The Arden Park neighborhood has two parks - La Sierra and Cresta Park - that are managed by the Arden Park Recreation and Park District (APRPD). Lots of folks confuse our two organizations, but the APRPD is a SEPARATE entity.

Arden Arcade is the name of the Census District in which Arden Park is located.  It includes nearly 100,000 residents of unicorporated Sacramento County, and covers a broad area bordered by Ethan Way to the west, Business 80 to the North, Mission Avenue to the East, and the American River to the south. Some local resources focused on the broader Arden Arcade Community include but are not limited to the following:

 

Arden Arcade Community Planning Advisory Council (CPAC) - is a department within the Sacramento County Planning & Environmental Review Division.  It gathers community response to development projects that range from broad policy questions that apply countywide, to small  projects of local interest.

 

Advocates for Arden Arcade is a local public affairs/civic engagement organization that lobbies for policies that effect our broader area, hosting information, meetings, news, etc. that may be of interest to local residents. Please note that the APNA does not promote any one political position over another.
