Arden Park Neighborhood Preservation Area (NPA)
 

Arden Park is governed by Sacramento County Building Codes, with a supplemental set of guidelines called The Neighborhood Preservation Area (NPA) document. Arden Park’s NPA provides exceptions to County guidelines relative to things like building setbacks, fence construction, building heights, etc. This NPA is within Sacramento County codes but applies to Arden Park only. Residents interested in making changes to their property should consult the Sacramento Building Codes and the supplemental NPA .

CC&Rs associated with the initial development of Arden Park are neither binding nor enforced.  Subsequent Federal and State laws were enacted to address outdated provisions contained in many CC&Rs. Federal (Fair Housing Act) and State law (Fair Employment and Housing Act).
