Membership

Membership dues for the APNA are currently $150.00 per year per household. If you are on a fixed income or have other financial constraints, pay what you can afford (check only) – some residents do pay less, and some residents pay more, so by all chipping in we can help each other out!

PLEASE NOTE – this is a 100% volunteer run and led organization, and as such, absolutely none of your membership dues is used for compensation of volunteers.  Volunteers may receive reimbursement for monetary expenses directly incurred on behalf of the organization only after proper approval by the board.

We are an all volunteer neighborhood association, approved as a federally tax exempt 501(c)4 organization.  100% of your dues goes directly to services for the neighborhood.

PayPal Payment FAQs

We encourage PayPal payment over credit card because it keeps our transaction fee expenses low. This translates to more services.

PayPal "guest" credit card payment error of "credit card not accepted" can only be remedied by PayPal support. We recommend you try again using your PayPal login prior to payment before calling support.

Member Benefits

Why should you join the APNA each year?

More members means more security:

Our main expense is for private security and is limited by the number of residents who support via dues. Help us increase security patrols, and work together to keep our neighborhood as safe as possible.

Stay Informed:

Your dues support the work to maintain our website MyArdenPark.com and our printed newsletter. The TAP Flyer is distributed 3-4 times per year and is the most consistent way to reach every single home in our neighborhood. We also have a presence on Facebook, Nextdoor, and Instagram, for those or more tech-savvy and want to stay abreast electronically. We also occasionally send members-only communications when special news warrants.

Have a Say:

As a dues-paying member, you have a greater voice in the priorities for work of the neighborhood association through surveys and other feedback mechanisms.

Also, you get priority access to advice and counsel of the APNA Volunteer Board, especially when there are sticky situations with neighbors or community.

Cultivate a Sense of Community:

Supporting the work of the APNA helps you to engage more with the neighborhood, and research shows that neighborhood associations improve neighborhood cooperation, quality of life, and protection of property values.

Added Security Away from Home:

You can request a Vacation Watch when you will be traveling away from home for an extended period of time. With a vacation watch, each time the security patrol is scheduled on duty, they will drive by your house during their shift, keeping a watchful eye out for anything suspicious. Note they do not enter your property but will call in anything that appears to be a risk or threat.

And last but certainly not least, you get an awesome annual decal to display on your car, to show off to your neighbors and friends!
